INTRODUCTION TO MULTIMEDIA / DIGITAL VIDEO
Multimedia teacher-Mr. Steele
- This one-year, introductory course will allow students to gain a wide-range of graphic design skills in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Premier, Bridge and Encore.
- Students will receive training in graphic design concepts such as: managing layers, proper file formats, editing photos, blending through layer opacity / transparency and modes, optimizing designs for use on the Internet or in publications, text creation and effects and text paths.
- Still-frame animation will be introduced in this course and will be implemented in projects in Adobe Premiere.
- All students will learn how to brainstorm projects that include scripts and storyboards and incorporate concepts such as planning, filming, editing, and producing their own short films/projects in Adobe Premier.
- All students are required to spend time outside of class filming / photographing material for the Senior Video which is the culminating project for this course.
